I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a lifestyle photographer with a passion for capturing the moments that often feel the most ordinary while somehow meaning everything later on. The way your child reaches for your hand, the laughter that fills your home, the quiet in-between moments you didn’t realize you’d want to hold onto forever. Those are the moments I’m drawn to most.
My approach to photography is deeply rooted in emotion, connection, and storytelling. I’m less focused on perfect poses and more focused on preserving what life actually felt like in this season — honestly, beautifully, and as true to you as possible.
With a background in social work, I approach every session with empathy and intention. Creating a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and fully yourself matters deeply to me. Whether your session feels playful, chaotic, emotional, tender, or somewhere in between, I want you to feel free to simply exist in the moment while I document it naturally as it unfolds.
I’ve spent the last 10 years behind a camera, constantly learning and evolving along the way. What I love most about this work is that no story is ever the same. Every family, every season, every connection carries something unique, and it’s an honor to preserve those pieces of your life in a way that feels meaningful and lasting.
To me, photography is about so much more than beautiful images. It’s about memory. It’s about legacy. It’s about creating something that brings you back to how this season felt years from now.
Your story deserves to be remembered exactly as it is — messy, beautiful, emotional, fleeting, and real. And I’d be honored to tell it.

every moment deserves to be seen

Hi, I'm Haley!

How it came to be:

I started my photography journey when I was 14 — back when I was constantly making my friends pose for moody little “Tumblr photos” in 2015 and carrying a camera everywhere I went. Photography was such a huge part of who I was, but I never imagined it would someday become my career.
Years later, after becoming a mom, everything changed for me. I realized how few photos I had with my son. How quickly moments passed. How badly I wanted images that felt emotional and honest instead of overly posed or perfect. I wanted photos that felt like memories.
As a fiancée at the time (now wife), I found myself craving imagery that captured connection in a deeper, more meaningful way — the kind of photographs that make you feel something years later.
So I bought a camera off Facebook Marketplace, started offering Mother’s Day minis, and immediately fell in love with documenting people as they really are. The connection, the chaos, the tenderness, the in-between moments — all of it.
What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much bigger. Over time, I began documenting couples, families, motherhood, and celebrations of all kinds, and I realized my true passion isn’t tied to one type of session — it’s telling honest stories and preserving the feeling of a season before it slips away.
Since the beginning of Haley Horner Photography, that has been at the heart of everything I do: creating imagery that feels emotional, lived-in, nostalgic, and deeply real.

The story of Haley Horner Photography

I started my photography journey when i was 14 (so a whole decade ago) and would always make my friends pose for me to take the “tumblr” photos from 2015. It was my biggest personality trait, I just never thought it would be my full time job.

Jumping forward almost 10 years, as a mom with very few photos with her son, and as a fiance with very few photos with my (now) husband - I knew I wanted to have a very certain style of photos and I had a hard time finding someone who captured that emotion in the way I was craving. So I got a camera from facebook marketplace, did some mother’s day minis, and fell in love with it. From there, I started taking couples photos and ventured into weddings and realized that is where my true passion lies. I settled into that about 2 months into the official start of Haley Horner Photography and have not stopped for a day since.
